- Fulltime
- Dispatched from home (take company vehicle home)

- 1/2 Day Saturday Bi-weekly Rotation

The Tech Managers & Owner are field service technicians, not someone in an ivory tower. You will have a support team including part sourcing, warranty account managers, dispatchers, access to manufacturer tech line phone and online support access, weekly tech meetings, at least one monthly team breakfast with technical hands-on training, regular online technical training as well as the potential to attend regional or national training events. Qualified Appliance Repair Technicians receive a full compensation plan ranging from $50,000 to over $90,000. In addition, we provide a monthly productivity profit-sharing bonus and other weekly bonus programs on one of the highest-rated appliance repair companies in the Chicago metro area.
- Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home (examples include; refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, etc.)
- Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
- Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
- Track all equipment, parts, and supplies delivered to you by staff
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
- 1-3 years appliance repair experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background, driving, and drug screen
- Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
