A Stable and Growing Manufacturer is Hiring a Regional Sales Manager Near Arkansas, AR

Regional Sales Manager

Must live in AL, MS, or AR

Critical Tasks:

1. Act as a business advisor to our dealers and be the primary contact for dealers within territory

2. Manage and improve sales within territory to meet overall company sales objectives

3. Prepare accurate sales forecasts for the territory

4. Increase dealer and customer understanding of Diamond’s products and services and our competitive advantage over competing products and companies

5. Promptly respond to dealer service and sales inquiries

6. Assist dealers, within territory, as necessary to aid them in improving their sales of Diamond products and where appropriate, to broaden and diversify their Diamond product lines

7. Maintain full knowledge of the inventory of the dealers within the territory

8. Assist dealers in promoting Diamond’s products though sales training, co-operative marketing efforts, demos and other promotional activities

Critical Tasks:

1. Strengthen existing dealer network within territory by identifying underperforming dealers and managing the plan to fix or replace them

2. Hold dealers accountable to established business plans and objectives

3. Ensure dealer personnel are properly trained on business strategy, sales and technical aspects

4. Identify and recruit new dealers within the assigned territory, based upon company objectives and needs

5. Be responsible for managing the dealer on-boarding process

Critical Tasks:

1. Respond to all customer and dealer calls and emails within 24 hours

2. Work as a business advisor, providing both business advice and strategic sales advice

3. Attend industry events and trade shows

4. Actively contribute to regular sales and company-wide meetings

Prior Experience (preferred):

· Previous selling experience: 5-7 years

· Previous work with industrial heavy equipment: 1-3 years

1. Preferred education: Associates in Business, Economics

2. Software knowledge: MS Office, CRM

Abilities:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors and customers

1. Coach and mentor others

1. Plan, organize and delegate work assignments

1. Use computer, mouse

1. Analytical and decision-making skills

1. Manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines

1. Independent problem-solving abilities

1. Valid driver’s license with use of vehicle that represents you and the company well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
