The Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and business analytical skills to drive our community content marketing. Specifically, you will be responsible for producing data that provides insights into the various market dynamics of senior living nationwide leveraging proprietary databases and consumer research. Key aspects of this work will include: defining parameters for market-relevant data, testing different data applications in our content marketing, and informing and building go-forward analytics tools that enable community content marketing on our owned & operated websites to scale.


Who you are:

You are passionate and data-driven. You have strong problem solving capabilities and are always learning and looking to apply new tools or insights to your analysis. You have a proven history of using data to structure analysis, test hypotheses, and drive business outcomes by focusing on the most relevant metrics. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves to do what it takes to come up with new solutions or ways for solving a problem at hand. And, you are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across an organization and can communicate your results clearly and succinctly.


What you will do:

  • Manage community content marketing data leveraging our proprietary databases to provide unique insights about the senior living marketplace across the nation
  • Create custom queries, through development of deep proficiency in APFM customer data, to inform reporting & analytics
  • Build automated reports, with an eye toward scalability & efficiency, that enable non-technical content marketers to more readily access routine data updates
  • Present, interpret and clearly explain data insights on community market dynamics to stakeholders across our organization
  • Develop an expert advisor into marketplace dynamics and considerations, working closely with our content marketing team, to enable unique content that will enhance our site experience for families in the search of senior living
  • Prioritize projects and requests and clearly communicate timeline expectations to various stakeholders
  • Incorporate APFM Values into each family, customer, and co-worker interaction


Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 5 years of experience with 2 years of technical analytical experience (e.g., query proficiency, report building) and business reporting (e.g., KPI metric or benchmark building) proficiency
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience using Databricks preferred
  • Proficiency in building self-serve dashboards in Business Intelligence platforms, experience using Tableau preferred
  • Outcome-oriented – thrives at translating target outcomes into measurable actions & reports
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, including the C-Suite
  • Bachelor Degree


Base Salary Range - $60,000-$80,000

Bonus: 10% Corporate Bonus
