Betterway Rent-A-Car is the largest Budget Car and Truck Rental licensee in the United States operating in 8 major markets (Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis, Tupelo, Kansas City, Omaha, Salt Lake City and Wichita) and several smaller markets. We are the largest car rental licensee in the United States. Betterway was established in 1977 and from our inception, we have been family owned and operated. We employ over 700 team members across all of our markets.

As Director of Recruiting, you will be charged with cultivating and recruiting outstanding talent for our Management Trainee program and other operational positions as required. Betterway is looking to build a future leadership pipeline and as such we are seeking the best and brightest college graduates and candidates.

Requirements

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Craft an effective recruitment strategy plan and interview process for the company.

· Create ads and other communication pieces for open positions and ensure they are posted on college portals and other applicable job sites.

· Represent the company by attending in-person recruiting events on college campuses and other job fairs and events.

· Conduct candidate interviews.

· Oversee the hiring and onboarding process.

· Oversight of the Management Training program including ongoing developmental opportunities.

· Present regular status updates on candidates to executive management .

Required skills and Experience

· Proven track record in recruiting 

· 4-year college degree

· Position will be based in either Atlanta or Salt Lake City. Requires frequent travel to various college campuses and job fairs in the United States as well as to our other cities.
