Summary Description:

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Example of Duties:

1. Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
2. General responsibility for supervising the accounting procedures of the division
3. Monitor and support taxation issues.
4. Assign, direct and audit the work of Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
5. Engage in the more critical and confidential aspects of accounting
6. Responsible for implementation of policies and systems; performing special financial studies (as requested).
7. Detailed accounting work, involving projects and problem solving.
8. Broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex accounting issues.
9. Must have regular and timely attendance at work.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in accounting or equivalent required, CPA preferred, plus three (3) years of experience

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of accounting principles.
2. Knowledge of audit practices
3. Must have computer skills and a knowledge of accounting related computer applications.
4. Task oriented with an attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Verbal and written communication skills required.
