The Utility Worker is responsible for performing all cleaning duties, routine light equipment cleaning/storage/transport, and other tasks to create a spotless and fully functioning center environment. The Utility Worker will be assigned to a primary area of responsibility of either multiple locker rooms or fitness/athletic venues and equipment, and May Center office areas. The Utility Worker will also be cross trained in the alternate location.
Utility Workers are responsible for maintaining clean conditions in their assigned venue(s) and will also assist May Center patrons who make use of these venues.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Previous experience as a porter in a fitness, athletic or hospitality setting is a plus.
Work Hours and Environment
Shifts may include weekends and evenings working up to a maximum of 15 hours a week.
This position does not utilize a hybrid or remote working model.
Conditions of Employment
Those offered a position must provide proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
