JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an internal candidate to fill an open Line Lead role. The main responsibility of the Line Lead is to help their team succeed by driving standards in Safety, Quality, Accuracy and Production.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Worked as a Farm Technician 1, Packer 2 or KG Operator for 3 months
• Ability to perform all Farm Tech jobs
• Identify and report updates and possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety
• Organizational skills and consistency, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
• Detail and quality oriented
• Able to delegate tasks to team members

RESPONSIBILIES INCLUDE

• Training new Team Members
• Manage and collaborate with Supervisor to complete Team Member monthly trainings
• Assist with interview process and tours
• Department Metrics
  • Log daily volumes
  • Log daily crew
• Setup and Start Up checks
  • Quality checks on all equipment
  • Complete Pre-Op checklist
  • Complete Vacuum cooler Pre-Op
• Daily checks and Measurements
  • General Operations: PPE is worn correctly and verify status of Work Orders with maintenance
  • Department checks: Verify Checklist are completed, and tasks are completed timely and correctly
  • Completing End-of-Day tasks: Cleaning and PPE supplies restocked, aged prop trays disposal, tools returned to storage areas and documentation
• Manage yield expectations and daily task progress to meet target
