Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities • Fully understand the functionality of target software / system / application / database • Participate in software requirements reviews, contribute software quality assurance requirements to project plans • Design and implement thorough, clear and concise test strategy, test plans, test cases • Perform system, integration and regression testing by formulating and executing testing strategies • Defect logging and tacking it to closure • Interacting with developers to resolve issues discovered during testing • Design and implement Test Automation Framework for regression test scripts using any suitable automation tools • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks. • Produce formalized documentation for all stages of test development and execution, including results • Ability to reduce the regression test cycles by identifying tests that can be automated • Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to stake holders, regional team members and client. Required Experience • 8-10 year experience in full software development lifecycle with expertise/focus on Software Quality Assurance primarily in testing J2EE, XML/JSON and Web Services type of applications • Hands-on experience in creating Requirements Traceability matrix that lines up Business Requirements to Test Cases • Hands-on experience in creating create Test Plans and Cases through to execution of tests • Design and implement thorough, clear, concise test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, test cases taking into consideration the requirements and testing objectives • Must have 5 year experience in SOA, Web services testing using Soap UI or equivalent tools. • Must have 5 year experience in testing software systems running on Unix/Windows platform • Must have 4 year experience working with RDBMS such as Oracle / SQL Server • Must have 4 year experience in software deployment process on SVN, ANT, MAVEN • Must have 4 year experience with Defect Tracking and Test Management tools i.e. JIRA, qTest, Quality Center • Very Good Communication skills • Experience in Financial Services and Origination domain is highly preferred Job Description Why Make a Move to FICO?
