Role Overview

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Facilities and Custodial teams to ensure that our buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. In addition, they are accountable for services such as safety, security, receiving and parking to ensure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work. This leader will serve as a key counterpart to our General Manager that oversees the vertical operations of this facility and throughout the state of California. They will also be an integral partners to ensuring we’re adhering to all federal, state, and local compliance needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company's facilities look neat and presentable for employees and the public

• Manage relationships and serve as primary liaison for regular service vendors (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, Co2, etc)

• Coordinate the procurement of all facility supplies, manage the existing inventory, and look to achieve cost savings.

• Ensuring all staff members adhere to OSHA general standard as it relates to a manufacturing facility and Safety SOP's, as well as assist in the adherence to Cannabis regulations

• P/L management and Labor Cost Management

• Coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures

• Manage, update and report daily facility activity using company systems and summarize information to support decision making

• Lead and assist in auditing practices, enforce proper tracking & reporting activity

• Facilitate the operational flow across departments within, production, orders/fulfillment, distribution, compliance, inventory, and security divisions

• Creates and implements standard operating procedures (SOP), internal processes, and compliance training

 Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant facilities management experience

• Bachelor’s degree (business, legal, regulatory fields preferred) or paralegal certification preferred (or other comparable experience)

• Experience with implementing and using METRC preferred
