Role Description: Facility Support - Supports site facility infrastructure, including HVAC system. Reviews system status and analyzes to identify trends and losses. Identifies, prioritizes and eliminates process losses. Responsible for defining equipment standards, leading benchmarking and re-application. Manages engineering programs. Optimizes space utilization and energy conservation. Supports troubleshooting and makes recommendations for improvement in support of safe, compliant, and reliable operations. Administrative - Ensures adherence to capital and expense budgets. Researches information and presents data on a wide variety of facility related topics including planning of facility needs, master facilities plan, and the disaster recovery plan. May perform management functions, including managing performance and providing training and development opportunities for staff. May act as qualified trainer for Facilities related SOP’s, programs to support site training needs. Assists in establishing reliability procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Assists in making reliability decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing standards and procedures. Optimizes equipment effectiveness by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing reliability controls. Monitors and confirms equipment reliability by conducting audits and tracking performance using Key Performance Indicators. Ensures reliability of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts; identifying critical spares; evaluating new equipment and techniques Leads root cause analysis on all major process interruptions to eliminate/reduce recurrence; initiating corrective actions. Develops and monitors a preventive maintenance optimization process to ensure continuous improvement KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES : Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline with minimum of 5 years of experience, Associates Degree with minimum of 7 years experience, Military or High school diploma with minimum of 10 years experience Comprehensive understanding of reliability based maintenance practices. Both tactical and strategic knowledge of the principles of preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability based maintenance, and asset performance standards. Budgeting and supervisory/management experience. Capable of interacting with multi-discipline teams including operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and managers.
