The Position Job Duties: Provides professional services in Payroll area for the North America Pharma and Diagnostics HR Shared Services organization. Partners with stakeholders and customers to support the execution of the organizational strategy and enables data-driven decisions. Possesses an understanding of HR business and technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Identifies, develops, and implements process/system improvements that are customer-focused, timely, efficient, and compliant. Trains stakeholder communities and HR SSC staff in process changes in alignment with Business Process Owners. Embraces our “higher standard” where respecting and protecting employee privacy is concerned: in all cases, limits access and use of information to the legitimate business task at hand; and uses discretion whenever handling employee information. Learning and developing professional expertise. Applies company policy and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on projects of limited to moderate scope. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Interacts with peers and stakeholders as required to complete tasks. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions. Supports execution of strategy for assigned HR business area. Provides information and/or analysis ensuring a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Proactively identifies and troubleshoots complex issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution. Builds strong partnerships with key internal organizations and stakeholders. Prepares reports, graphs, and charts in conformance with legislated requirements or organizational needs. Collects, evaluates, and initiates process/system changes based on business needs and priorities. Gathers, analyzes and documents business requirements. Analyzes end-user feedback to promote continuous improvements and translates needs of the business into applicable process design solutions. Forecasts and analyzes trends in general business conditions and other related areas. Develops effective training material and trains user community on new functionalities, processes and guidelines in alignment with BPO. Key Attributes/Skills: Bachelor's degree required 3-5 years of experience Broad knowledge of HR services, policies and programs Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to resolve a variety of routine and complex issues Strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills Ability to identify, drive and/or participate in implementing process improvement activities Project management, consulting, and change management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Analytical, logical problem resolution skills with a usability skills and mindset High proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
