Investigate how technology giants are harvesting artificial intelligence and algorithms to shape what consumers buy, read, watch, and believe. Interview people who have information, analysis, or opinions about Alphabet, its numerous divisions, the actions of the company’s leaders, and the issues facing its enormous workforce. Examine how Silicon Valley players are developing and deploying artificial intelligence and algorithms. Produce compelling news stories through words, video, and data. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and 5 years of experience as a news reporter. Also required: 2 years of experience as a tech reporter; 5 years of experience researching tech companies and their latest developments; 5 years of experience synthesizing research findings; 5 years of experience doing investigative journalism in the tech field; and 5 years of experience writing news articles for major publications. All experience can be earned concurrently. Job is in San Francisco, CA. Telecommuting from within the regular commuting area of San Francisco, CA is permissible.
