Job Description The Washington Post is looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our Client Solutions Team. As the Recruitment Solutions Client Partner, you will lead all employer branding activations for both local and national clients. This is one of the fastest growing categories at The Washington Post. It is also a channel sales role that requires the ability to collaborate well with colleagues. The right candidate will have experience selling solutions to talent marketing leaders as well as a deep understanding of the recruitment technology ecosystem. You will have at your disposal the entire portfolio of Washington Post products to craft comprehensive, outcome-based solutions for your clients. The ability to think creatively is a must. Digital sales experience is required. What the successful candidate will bring to the table: a disciplined approach to maintaining daily sales activity levels; ability to sell ideas; the ability to prospect and develop partnerships with new clients; to understand and solve for client need/opportunity and a proven track record in building and sustaining client-based relationships. We’ll also need you to be on the lookout for emerging trends within the talent marketing landscape, to think beyond The Washington Post’s current product lines for the next big thing, and to develop relationships outside the typical media buying chain—all to drive incremental sales that will meet and exceed our goals. Responsibilities include: Sell Washington Post advertising solutions to a varied client base in the U.S. through direct client and agency engagement. Establish relationships with clients to understand their employer branding needs and goals. Create customized solutions and close sales Uncover new opportunities while remaining steadfast with your current client list Communicate and report sales plans and actions taken Keep up-to-date with recruitment industry trends Employ an entrepreneurial and creative approach to your business Collaborate with internal partners effectively Attend outside functions as needed Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree 3 years of experience in digital media sales Experience selling to human resources and talent acquisition leaders Strong presentation and in-person sales skills Knowledge of talent acquisition and recruitment industry High emotional intelligence A strong business development focus, willing to self-start and prospect to uncover new business Ability to establish rapport, develop credibility and sell ideas to senior management A strong, professional, goal-oriented work ethic and a track record of meeting quarterly/annual goals A desire to manage the entire sales process (including prospecting, acquiring new business and maintaining relationships) Experience with Salesforce Occasional business travel may be required When you join The Post… When you join TWP, you are joining a mission to connect, inform, and enlighten those around the globe with the highest caliber, most trustworthy news and information.
