We are a cleaning company that has a cleaning job 5 days cleaning job at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Airport location.

We are seeking two experienced and motivated individuals to join our team as an Airport Terminal Cleaning Lead. The Cleaning Lead will oversee and coordinate cleaning operations within the airport terminal, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for passengers and airport staff.

HOURS OF SERVICE:

Hours: We have positions open for both day and evening shifts. Positions will rotate on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure the timely and thorough completion of cleaning tasks.
2. Assign cleaning duties and responsibilities to cleaning staff, providing clear instructions and guidance as needed.

3. Train new cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

4. Conduct regular inspections of terminal facilities to assess cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.

5. Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, coordinating with supervisors to replenish supplies and schedule equipment maintenance as needed.

6. Maintain cleaning schedules and records, documenting cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues or concerns.

7. Communicate with airport management and other stakeholders to address cleaning-related issues, requests, and concerns.

8. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that cleaning staff adhere to proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.

9. Provide leadership and support to cleaning staff, addressing performance issues, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements.

10. Collaborate with airport security personnel to ensure compliance with security procedures and regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management or related field preferred.

*Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

*Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in commercial cleaning operations.

*Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

*Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

*Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards and quality assurance.

*Ability to communicate effectively with cleaning staff, airport management, and other stakeholders.

*Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

*Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks and move around the airport terminal.

*Willingness to undergo background checks and security screenings required for employment at the airport.

*MUST have a reliable car to drive to location.

*Previous cleaning experience a PLUS.
