4Front Solutions is Hiring a Shipping Clerk Near De Land, FL
- Assemble packaging materials and packages merchandise per instructions, in preparation for shipment
- Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments to the company’s ERP system and to the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick-up of goods
- Review of packing slips, commercial invoices and other documentation related to standard commerce
- Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisitions additional supplies as required
- Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitates tracking of packages
- Identify errors on packing lists, invoices and in their own work and have them corrected
- Demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and thoroughness off all shipping records
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience handling domestic and international shipping preferred
- Familiarity with FedEx, DHL, Freight Trucks and UPS shipping procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of international shipping requirements
- Experience using UPS Shipping Program
- Basic computer skills/data entry skills to include familiarity with Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Using custom and universal packaging
- Good understanding of terminology used for shipments
- Strong sense of priority
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Communicate well with others
- Stand for long periods of time
- Keep the department clean and organized
- Attractive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k and more, effective immediately upon hire.
