Our goal is to implement efficient and scalable ML tools/pipelines for ASR and NLP model builds and model deployment in production. As a Machine Learning engineer in our group, you will use your skills to develop training tools and pipelines for machine learning at large scale. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and release high quality, well-documented codebases that drive state-of-the-art ASR/NLP/deep learning research Extend research libraries and toolkits - evaluate, prototype, and introduce new machine learning/deep learning technologies Improve tool performance to best exploit modern compute environments (HPC distributed clusters, Cloud-based GPUs etc.) Collaborate closely with applied scientists and engineers to reduce time-to-deployment of research ML models In collaboration with infrastructure team, optimize ML workloads on Azure-based platforms Participate in continuous learning of machine learning / deep learning technologies Required Qualifications: MS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent Solid Python programming skill, Unix knowledge Hands-on experience with popular ML/DL frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch Solid problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills Demonstrate continuous learning, good communication and collaboration skills.
