Ability to complete projects developed using Java and oracle and other tasks efficiently and within the allocated timelines with little or no supervision. Ability to thoroughly review design specifications and/or user requirements. Participate in functional and/or technical discussions with project team and/or client. Keep project team informed of project status in relation to quality and timelines. Program IWRS and other software application developed using Java and oracle at all levels of complexity as designed in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate project specifications Prepare & perform code review of IWRS and other software applications developed using Java and oracle. Ability to thoroughly component test code to minimize the number of programming errors. Write unit tests for software applications developed using Java and oracle if applicable. Write study installation procedures if applicable. Assist other programmers with tasks as needed including install procedures, code reviews, component testing, and programming. Perform IWRS configurations and related activities if applicable. Other related responsibilities may be assigned as required by the needs of the department. Write technical specifications or other technical documents if applicable. Develop/maintain system wide programming standards/guidelines as needed to improve efficiency and promote quality and consistency. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to perform technical research and propose viable technical solutions. Ability to determine and make improvements to current processes and applications. Ability to work on any software product feature.
