Learning and Development Specialist

3Cloud’s Learning and Development Specialist is a role that works in partnership with the Director of Learning and Development to diagnose prioritized learning needs on behalf of the organization, develops and maintains comprehensive project plans that summarize critical short and long-term development tasks and deliverables, helps to execute against those needs to fill learning gaps, and maintains data records to validate and updated development solutions.

What You’ll Do:

Work with internal subject matter experts to maintain and update skill-based learning paths. Ensure that all governances and controls of updates and edits are followed and that changes are published in 3Cloud University (SharePoint).

Work with technology community leads to help manage system of badges, achievements, and leader boards working to maintain systems of gamification and engagement that reward and recognize our employees’ efforts towards continual growth.

Manage operations, communication, registration, and metric collection for ongoing internal and vendor-led training programs, solving and/or escalating participant troubleshooting and scheduling conflicts. Monitor the health and viability of programs through data collection and exploration.

Assist in annual proactive needs analysis and fielding business learning requests through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data exploration. Assist in researching, developing, and facilitating solutions to address those learning gaps.

Skills and Experiences Useful in this Role:

• 2-4 years L&D experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of Adult Learning Theories.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in project management a plus
• Experience working with HRIS, LMS or other training platforms a plus.
• Experience with instructional design tools or other audio/visual editing tools a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Training and Development, or related field preferred
• Prefer Master’s level education in HR, I/O Psychology or related field. May substitute work experience.
