Job Description We are actively seeking a Business Intelligence Developer as part of our global IT team at PHC Group. In this role, you will be a key part of a core BI team to tackle complex, mission-critical enterprise projects and help build business intelligence reporting solutions and back end infrastructure. Responsibilities will cover the full BI spectrum from requirements gathering, development and maintenance of ongoing data sources, metrics, reports, analyses, to dashboards across cross functional business organizations like Finance, Commercial (Sales & Marketing), Service, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, R&D and Product lines worldwide. Candidates need to have hands-on technical skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a highly matrixed, global organizational structure. Responsibilities: Leverage and grow PHC’s BI stack to develop high value business views from disparate data sources across departments and PHC subsidiaries Contribute to the growth of a modern, self-service BI environment to empower SME’s, business users and executive leadership Contribute to high visibility analytics and reporting projects using technologies such as Incorta and PowerBI Work with businesses across the enterprise to create and standardize Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Key Performance Objectives (KPO’s), and other key metrics and measurements used for both internal and external reporting Data governance and administration (data security, data access, standard tools, training – self-service) Support business subject matter experts and super users to deliver data analysis needed to make timely critical business decisions Maintain an understanding of data sources needed for day to-day operations, integrate into BI environment, and leverage that knowledge to respond to ad hoc problems Deliver and maintain best practices in data acquisition, data integration, data visualization, optimization, and implementation of solutions Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and end user needs by working with them to define scope and plan analytical solutions that produce meaningful insights Review and utilize best practice standards for design and development of data infrastructure, analytical solutions and data visualizations Participate in development and review of technical documentation to ensure accurate development of reporting solutions Identify or develop key customer/department performance measurements across the organization. Recommend frequency and scope of performance measurements. Link customer/department performance measurements to operational measurements to enable change Qualifications: Here’s what we’ll need from you: 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence with a focus on Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Semantic Layer development (business views, materialized views) 4 years of experience with SQL Experience with Spark, Python or R is preferred Experience with cloud architecture is preferred (Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS models) Strong desire to learn and continually develop Experience integrating core ERP (SAP, NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce) data structures is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science or related discipline is preferred Hands-on experience in reporting and business intelligence solutions (e.g., PowerBI, Incorta) Must have prior experience working with a BI platform connected to multiple enterprise applications Must have prior experience developing business intelligence solutions in large or midsize companies Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly Must be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions Successful technical and analytical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic with a high level of integrity Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
