365 Retail Markets is Hiring a Remote Front End Developer

This position is located within the Development Department of 365 Retail Markets and reports to the Manager of Technology. You will work closely with other developers, testing teams, project management and customers to jointly develop and enhance applications within 365 Retail Markets’ product suite.
Assignments include code development, unit testing, problem analysis and documentation for both new features and support requests.
Responsibilities
- Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement software applications in next generation portals
- Participate in the full development life cycle including requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and maintenance
- Develop and maintain clear, well written, self-documenting code
- Create and maintain design documentation
- Develop and maintain automated unit tests
- Enhance existing system software to meet evolving business needs
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience
- Experience using React JS, typescript and Node.js application frameworks
- Experience with SQL, MySQL and Oracle database systems
- Fluent in scripting languages such as Python, bash
- Version control, such as Git
- Design and construction of REST APIs
- Designing database models and schemas
- Experience with data warehouse technology, ETL tools/process
- Working knowledge of public cloud infrastructure like AWS and GCP
- Knowledge and experience with compliance and data security
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently
