UPM Raflatac is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Vancouver, Washington who will be responsible for receiving and inspecting inbound material and shipping finished products. What you will do: Offload & inspect inbound raw material and laminate Create labels for required raw material and correctly load raw material and laminate into warehouse system Properly dispose of all waste packaging materials associated with inbound materials Properly document any damage observed when material is off-loaded Verify that all paperwork is accurate according to the actual materials being received Communicate effectively with drivers Shipping finished products; Unload mill rolls, maintain inventory of materials, wrapping pallets & pulling stock orders Assist in other areas of finishing as needed Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures. Perform all duties consistent with the Roles and Responsibilities defined in the company’s OHS Standards and Guidelines. Who you are: Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School education and 1-2 years work experience in an industrial setting. Ability to work well within a team required. Must have well-developed problem solving skills, including the ability and willingness to apply a systematic approach to the process. Must be computer-literate. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability understand and adhere to written work instructions. Must be highly motivated and able to work without direct supervision. Must have ability to multi-task. Must be willing to work in a safe manner and ability to keep work area neat and organized. Must have excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Must have forklift experience, forklift certification - desired.
