Job Description: Billing Specialists work under general direction, receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Billing Specialists are responsible for all billing transactions including analyzing revenue trends and ensuring that costs billable to appropriate parties are billed correctly and timely. They identify and resolve outstanding issues but will seek advice and assistance on more complex problems and issues relating to the billing function. Billing Specialists prepare and distribute billing reports and spreadsheets while demonstrating knowledge of basic billing and accounting principles.
