Key Tasks and Responsibilities Follow all Environmental, Safety and Health policies while performing duties to include but not limited to Confined Space Entry, LOTOTO, Fall Protection, wearing of appropriate PPE for assigned duties, etc. The Maintenance Foreman will perform all necessary repairs and/or modifications to plant machinery or equipment as required to maintain optimum availability. Repairs may include rebuilding/replacement of machinery, gearboxes, bearings, etc.; fabrication to include cutting/welding of metal plates for chutes, structures, etc. Manage Routine Work Orders (issuance and closure) for area of responsibility The Foreman will work closely with the Production Team and assist the Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate required downtime for daily maintenance activities Maintain Preventative Maintenance Program as specified for area of responsibility Perform Level 2 or higher maintenance on equipment in area of responsibility as needed Maintain housekeeping in area of responsibility as per Imerys standards Assist team with the development of Root Cause Analysis for major or frequent failures in area of responsibility Ensure all guarding is adequately maintained to site standards in area of responsibility Perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly area and equipment inspections as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor/ or Reliability Engineer. Complete any required documentation or inspection report and file accordingly.= Perform any additional duties as described by the Maintenance Supervisor Skills and Attributes Requirements Must be able to effectively communicate both orally or written Basic math at high school or equivalent level Must be able to work shifts as per schedule Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions. Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places. Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Will be required to wear all necessary PPE Will require basic computer skills necessary to access/write emails, basic word documents, complete work orders Education/Experience Requirements Must have a High School Diploma or GED Two years experience in industrial maintenance and repairs preferred Environment While performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise, outside weather in all conditions and materials used in the process. Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions. Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Approximately 100% plant environment.
