Job Description About the team Workbench & Metaservices team is at the core of the UDAIP platform enabling modernization and migration to the cloud efforts. The candidate will be working alongside world class Engineers in building features from scratch and a one stop shop for data and analytic needs inside the Bank. In this exciting role you will be a contributor to core services including metadata storage, control plane engineering, provenance, authorization, and building tools to support schema-driven API logic, etc. for the Data & AI/ML platform. #LI-REMOTE What you will do The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you'll join a self-organizing squad to design, build, deliver and maintain software in our banking platform. Together with the squad team members, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end features, spanning from front-end to API implementation Design, build, and maintain features end-to-end in the banking platform's web app - Work together with the squad to effectively plan and execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability and performance in mind. Strive for code quality, engineering discipline, and team collaboration Contribute to the architecture of a complex SaaS platform. Our Tech Stack - Our codebase is written using functional programming styles The platform frontend is written in React.js We use Redux for the state management and Redux Sagas for side effects Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to Six years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience Extensive hands on experience in ReactJS, EcmaScript 6 and above Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Extensive experience on creating Micro front-end applications Modern JS (browser Node.js), CSS, SCSS and HTML5 Front end state management Redux, ContextAPI and Hooks Client API GrapQL,Axios and Fetch wrapper experience with reusable react JS components creation.
