Job Description The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader as part of an Agile team to deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of our technology initiatives in an agile environment. Working independently and also collaboratively, a Scrum Master will keep teams focused and instruct or coach other business, product and engineering professionals. Partnering with key technical, business, and support stakeholders, this role acts as a team facilitator, constantly challenging old norms while keeping the team focused on the goals of iteration and speed-to-market. This role will also facilitate and coordinate all of the agile ceremonies and oversee the building of the Agile team’s backlog to ensure the team moves forward. Job Description Experience and use of Agile tools and methods. Experience in business analysis, product/project management, and/ or product development. Demonstrated coaching experience (effective at getting the best out of people, drive people to their best performance, empowerment, and motivation) in a matrixed environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and conflict resolution skills. Experience using tools that measure and report on team performance, backlog health and continuous improvement. CSM (Certified Scrum Master) a plus. Strong attention to detail. Geographically distributed product development. Budgeting and time management skills. SAFe, Kanban and Financial Services industry experience. Individual contributor that works under limited supervision, with basic knowledge of Agile principles and practices. Applies subject matter knowledge; requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Typically leads 1-3 Scrum teams. Experience successfully delivering solutions on an aggressive schedule. Working technical knowledge of the software development process – design, development, test, and deployment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience At least 3 years of experience in Agile technology delivery and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teams At least one year of experience in a Scrum environment Preferred Skills/Experience Basic knowledge of Agile principles, tools and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge Experience in the field of Loan Origination, Mortgage or Banking is preferred Professional experience working in the role of Project Manager to include budget forecasting, asset allocation, resource management and risk mitigation Ability to work with multiple vendors, both on- and off-shore Working technical knowledge of the software development process - design, development, test, and deployment Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, budgeting and time management skills If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
