Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking a highly effective and dynamic Product executive to deliver digital business-to-business and consumer-to-business payment solutions to meet customer needs. As a Subject Matter Expert, this leader will develop and drive business strategy, set priorities, and execute go-to-market activities to enable sales success. This position will coordinate and collaborate with business partners to bring innovative business solutions that will help expand U.S. Bank expand its leadership in the market. The Product executive will bring a deep passion for technology and payments, a futuristic view, ability to understand and assemble trends in their respective industries and provide a consultative approach on managing the product life cycle. They will work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment and will have the ability to independently translate high-level guidance into detailed deliverables. This leader will demonstrate good interpersonal skills and executive presence. Lastly, success for the role will be measured through profitable growth of the product portfolio, new client acquisition / wallet share growth, effective & proactive risk mitigation efforts, and demonstratable growth of team members. This highly visible and strategic role will collaborate with internal partners to drive an enterprise approach to solve key customer challenges. RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop market-leading solutions to solve client challenges • Originate, synthesize, and execute a coherent product strategy plan with internal stakeholders • Identify areas of opportunity based on client needs & pain points to streamline payment and reporting experiences • Build and execute a portfolio of client-tested ideas and lead the process for business case generation • Assemble and deploy all elements of a new product or service including Pricing, Sales, Target Market Definition, Marketing, Customer Support Model, etc. • Define, articulate, and execute our enterprise approach which amalgamates solutions from various internal partners • Foster and promote a driven, optimistic, and entrepreneurial culture while leading the innovation cycle • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior team members to cultivate growth and development • Work with Go to Market Sales team to support Pipeline sales opportunities and tracking oversight • Lead defining so Solution campaigns and client promotional offers that drive sales leads to appropriate sales staff COMPETENCIES & WINNING CHARICTERISTICS • Deep understanding of the B2B and C2B payments landscape and customer challenges • An articulate executive with a passion for innovation and the ability to influence people at all levels of the organization across a variety of job functions • Demonstrate experience as a strategic leader who sees opportunities, builds compelling business cases, finds, and leads the right talent to build, launch, evaluate, and adapt new concepts quickly • Proven track record of successfully leading large & complex initiatives and who has built great teams to drive successful execution • Self-starter who create winning partnerships across organizational boundaries and thrives in a fast-paced work environment managing concurrent initiatives Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of product management experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Strong product management, design and development skills - Considerable knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis - Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills - Advanced marketing and marketing research skills - Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area - Well-developed verbal and written communication skills - Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate Requirement: U.S. Bank requires that the successful candidate hired for this position be fully-vaccinated for COVID-19, absent being granted an accommodation due to a medical condition, pregnancy, or sincerely held religious belief or other legally required exemption.
