Responsibilities

• Oversee the logistical operations of the facility and manage the processes and flow of the following departments: PC and Laptop Config/Audit, Specialty Products, and focus on Shipping and Receiving & Inventory Control.
• Responsible for Operations objectives and goals by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits and identifying trends
• Communicate with all levels of management and sales team as necessary to determine problem areas and repairs needed
• Develop warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout and implementing changes as necessary
• Prepare reports and process documentations in a timely manner to executive management and other duties as assigned
• Review all open orders daily to ensure orders flow through proper warehouse protocols in a timely manner
• Provide support and feedback to both Sales Associates and Purchasing Department as it relates to equipment, parts and supply needs of the warehouse
• Provide effective leadership through goal setting, delegation and communication
• Attend all 2NDGEAR Alignment Meetings as a representative of 2nd Shift Operations Management
• Communicate with management of all levels on any related operational duties or requirements
• Develop and implement programs to ensure the safety of all warehousing personnel, equipment, and property.
• Ensures high level of customer service for all requests. Ensure and manage the domestic and international shipments of all finished goods, internal transfers, and commercial shipments.
• Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff, provide employee coaching feedback in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Coordinate with the Executive Management for appropriate staffing and disciplinary resolutions
• Other various duties/assignments as assigned by the Direction or Operations

Qualifications / Education

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Warehouse Operations/Supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training required
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Hours would be from 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting
