What We Need:

2K Publishing Tech delivers innovative solutions to our studios and supports all of their technology needs to ensure they can focus on building incredible games. The Technical Program Manager will need to apply their experience and skills across a variety of roles including project and program management, change management, process improvement and documentation, requirements definition, tracking schedules, budgets, and action items, and most importantly, forging strong relationships across the business. They need the interpersonal and organizational skills to navigate our complex and fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Establish, maintain and drive delivery against multiple project schedules
  • Capture requirements, write user-stories, and prioritize backlogs for development teams in an Agile environment
  • Work with cross-functional partners and studios to identify, document, and communicate project / program scope, schedule, risks, and issues
  • Establish and drive successful quality assurance of our products, including test plan review and testing as needed
  • Proactively identify, track and drive resolution of blocking issues and non-engineering action items
  • Ensure that vision, relevant key indicators, and roadmap are established with accountable portfolio leads
  • Identify and manage dependencies and risks across projects and teams
  • Actively communicate status (roadmap, OKRs, potential high impacting risks, impediment, etc.) and achievements
  • Identify and drive process improvement throughout the engineering organization

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

You are passionate about technology and you are excited about bringing innovative capabilities to empower studios to make incredible game experiences for consumers. You understand what it means to bring organization in a fast-paced environment that is minimally disruptive. You are interested in exploring opportunities to apply technology to address opportunities in the area of video game backend services, digital sales, marketing, and distribution. You consider excellence in communication to be one of, if not your strongest asset across all mediums.

  • Agile product management experience
  • Understands data analytics to identify key performance indicators, manage integration of data pipelines, and perform data analysis to drive insights.
  • Experience documenting business processes in Visio for current and future state workflows. Value stream mapping a plus
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, strategic facilitation, and presentation
  • BA/BS or equivalent in STEM or software related fields
  • 4 years of experience in a technical role delivering solutions (e.g. PM, QA, SWE, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of an organization; both internal and external, technical and non-technical
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus
