What We Need:

2K is looking for a dedicated receptionist who is full of personality, charisma and charm and who loves the video game industry as much as we do! Our front desk receptionist will serve as the initial contact for all visitors and employees at our 2K Mocap Studio based in Petaluma, CA.

The candidate who will fill this position should be energetic, personable, outgoing and able to create a welcoming and warm environment for all. He/she will be the main contact/coordinator for all visitors making sure the flow of the front lobby is at a constant smooth pace and that every visitor is greeted, and taken care of.

What You Will Do:

• Meet and greet all visitors, creates a welcoming and warm environment, determine their needs, direct them to the appropriate employee or location and notify internal contact their guest has arrived.

• Provide administrative and clerical support to office and human resources team when needed. Enter and assign Facilities Requests using ticketing system.

• Assist Facilities preparing and forwarding outgoing mail and packages when needed.

• Support Facilities with processing FedEx shipment requests for various departments throughout the day including international shipments, when needed.

• Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, and mailing as required.

• Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies.

• Assis with preparing meeting rooms, ordering food and beverage service as needed.

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.

• Work with the recruiting team to ensure all candidates are taken care of when they arrive for interviews.

• Assist with ordering and coordinating food services for meetings ranging from 2 to 80 as needed.

• Keep reception area organized.

• Assist with weekly vendors with orders/signoffs/etc.

• Ensure visitors sign NDA form.

• Sort mail, place packages in mail room and send out e-mail notifications of packages received.

What Will Make You A Good Fit:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.

• Experience and knowledge in the gaming industry a but not a requirement.

• Experience in customer service is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient Microsoft Office user, Outlook, Google Docs.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels.

• Commitment to excellence and high standards.

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Sit for prolonged periods.

• Perform some repetitive motion activities.

• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Lift and move up to 40 pounds.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $25-30/hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
