Director, Program Management We are looking for a highly motivated Director, Program Manager to join Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS), the business-to-business (B2B) arm of Expedia Group (EG). We provide industry leading technology solutions powering thousands of partners across the globe with EG products. We are powered by the worlds travel platform enabling EPS to address almost every segment in the travel market from large online travel providers to your local high-street travel agent. We are looking for a Director, Program Manager to join our Planning and Enablement team, to work with a number of external client’s and vendors, alongside internal teams to deliver initiatives across our API and template solutions. You will be responsible for delivering initiatives on time and for ensuring all project team members are consulted and fully informed of delivery dates and solution details. What you'll do: Lead a Program Management team, creating an open, collaborative, and candid culture that enables the team to form constructive relationships with others and report in a clear and concise manner Build the basic structure of a program including: goals, prioritization, project team resources (people and budget), roles and responsibilities, communication plan and delivery phases Stay ahead of the progress of several projects or programs and mentor the program management team to prioritize as needed Define team governance and implement processes to improve team execution and delivery Active identification and mitigation of any project issues, risks and dependencies and provide status updates as and when needed Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve complex problems Present a clear thought process and framework to establish success criteria to measure the success of various initiatives. To drive organizational effectiveness, you ensure these metrics are actioned regularly and reported on openly Collaborate with key team members by helping them to successfully navigate through critical business changes Guide program delivery and outcomes in line with Expedia Groups priorities and adjust the goals accordingly Creatively develop visual aids and other content to share complex information with executives and project team members Who you are: Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent related professional experience Preferably experience with working with external clients and vendors Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment across various teams and time zones, with a strong bias for action Applies storytelling and persuasion to connect vision, strategy and action plans Experience in delivering challenging messages in a factual, independent, non-biased way A passion for Project Management and effective teamwork #L1–SA21 At Expedia Group, we believe in bringing people together and creating an inclusive workplace where everyone belongs and can do their best work.
