Job Details: Job Summary: Directs and coordinates IT operations for Cubic Corporation and remote sites as well as new technological advances. Provides technical expertise, solutions and leadership coupled with a staff supervisory role. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and coordinates enterprise-wide projects for Cubic telecommunications, active directory management, change control and mobile device security Prepare, maintain and monitor a yearly Management Information System plan budget. Prepare, maintain and monitor plans for user training, disaster recovery, virus protection data back and network security. Create and maintain Management Information System and measurements. Improve productivity of Management Information System and users through automation and remote access. Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security. Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning programs. Remains abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements. Monitors and administers the network, keeping system information up-to-date in network log. Loads and updates software applications and operating systems as required. Manages memory usage of the network, network printing and network technical resources. Maintains a backup of all files, security rights. May be responsible for full IT operations for one or more customer environments, including maintaining and tracking IT budgets, resource planning, incident escalation, reporting availability of IT systems/applications/services, capacity planning, and customer communications. Minimum Job Requirements: Four-year college degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems A minimum of eight years management of IT staff and infrastructure. Unix experience and competency with testing methodologies. Schedule Management skills. Experience with CRM, Asset Management, ERP, Oracle databases and Crystal Reports. MS Office Pro Suite and Visio proficiency. Strong Leadership Skills. Ability to work with all levels of management and technical staff. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to express technical concepts to non-technical individuals and groups. Must be able to interact effectively with other departments and sites worldwide.
