20000 Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Registration Clerk | 40 hours per week | Keokuk Clinic: Urgent Care Near Dallas City, IL

Minimum Hiring Wage: From $16.50 per hour Job Details: Scheduled: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Description: Performs a variety of clerical functions and tasks related to clinic specific needs. Provides timely and accurate information to patients and customers who call on the telephone to request information. Duties include pre-certifying with insurance companies, filing, scheduling, communicating with other members of the healthcare team, and maintaining records using the Electronic Health Record system. Greets patients and families when they arrive at the clinic. Verifies all pertinent demographic information that is required including data used for regulatory compliance. Collects co-pay and verifies correct insurance information at each visit.
