Where We Need You: The Chicago office is seeking a Business Intelligence Experienced Consultant to join our growing team. Experienced Consultants learn from the best management team in an effort to develop an understanding of business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. The Experienced Consultant conducts interviews, compiles and analyzes data, and documents findings. Through interaction with client and project team personnel, the Experienced Consultant develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. The successful Experienced Consultant learns effective time and task management, takes ownership of assignments, and accepts responsibility for team results. You learn the client’s business industry which in turn helps you develop appropriate business knowledge. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Prior experience working in either Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence Experience with major ETL vendors, such as SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage, etc. Experience designing and implementing data models for applications or reporting 1-2 years working with SQL including intermediate to advanced knowledge on DML / DDL Experience with any of the major Business Intelligence reporting tools, such as Power BI, BusinessObjects, Hyperion, Cognos, Microstrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or SSRS Experience working within a Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, TeraData, or other major database management systems Experience with Master or Meta Data repositories Experience working with business stakeholders to translate business issues into technology solutions and vice versa Demonstrated knowledge of technology project risks and strategies for managing and mitigating them Experience with Data Governance Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Access, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint Programing skills such as Python, Java, JavaScript, etc. are preferred Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 1-2 years in a related field; preferably in professional services and/or industry Do You Love Exploring New Places? We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests/commitments.
