1st Class Security is Hiring a Loss Prevention Officer Near Kansas City, KS

Immediate Opening for a Full Loss Prevention Officer
Location: Retail Store in Kansas City metro area
Job Description:
- Identify shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV
- Report writing
- Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
- Provide court room testimony as required

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Full-time/ 40 hours per week

$21.00 per hour

Health Insurance / 401k available to Fulltime employees 

Paid Time Off 

 Job Requirement:
- Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
- Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
