Main responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Assisting with month-end close activities and year-end adjustments
- Prepare monthly bank and other account reconciliations
- Maintain Fixed Assets Records including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset verification audits
- Analyze and review credit card expenses (Monthly reconciliations)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist in the year-end financial audit, preparing schedules and addressing auditor requests for information
Qualifications:
- comfortable working in Excel daily, sorting through data, uploading data from spreadsheets into the system, working in existing spreadsheets, and filtering information
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- QuickBooks experience preferred
