Job Description We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead our Site Reliability Engineering team. In this role, you will manage and technically lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers who are dedicated to ensuring that our mission critical system is always available. By working across the organization, you will influence system architecture and application design, specifically in the areas of performance, scalability and security. Responsibilities include: Create a never stop culture within your team of Site Reliability Engineers. Provide technical leadership and coaching to the SRE team and the application development teams on design practices that continually improve our resilience. Seek opportunities for continuous improvements in our tools, technologies and processes. Unblock teams by providing the resources required for them to be successful. Manage up, down and across the organization to align on our goals. Be a strong proponent of the Agile mindset Qualifications: 2 years of experience managing people and teams 6 years of hands-on development experience in an Agile environment 6 years of experience in Azure Expert level knowledge of Azure infrastructure Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering best practices BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong understanding of Agile and the experience to back it up #LI-CA1 Basic Requirements Bachelors Degree 3 years of experience in Azure Vaccine Requirement Motorola Solutions has implemented a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy.
