Openpath’s Finance team is responsible for managing the company's financial profile within the larger Motorola Solutions portfolio of Video Security & Access Control portfolio. Job Description We are seeking a Revenue Accountant who will report directly into the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Senior Revenue Accountant and Billings Team to ensure the accuracy of reporting revenue and receivables for the high-growth Access Control division. What you’ll do & more... Assist in the detailed review of transactions to ensure proper billing and accounting for the order to cash area Review sales change orders, post credit memos and ensure changes are accurately reflected in the accounting system Prepare journal entries based on the review of supporting reconciliations and schedules Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analysis for management reporting Assist with sales tax documentation and maintenance Support audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility Other ad-hoc strategic analyses and work across the company, as necessary Additional Skills Understanding of the AR subledger, general ledger, and impact to the financial statements 2 years of progressive financial analysis experience in high growth accounting environments Basic knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
