Job Description: Role Overview Supervises department personnel and manages daily operations, ensuring quality service and the professional development of all associates. Sets workflow priorities and ensures the timely and accurate processing TA2000 Fund Option, Voice and Fan Option update in accordance with established quality and productivity guidelines and standards. Responsibilities · Supervises assigned personnel. Plans, allocates, and monitors work, and makes decisions regarding employment, performance reviews, training and development, and related personnel actions. · Coordinates and monitors daily workflow to ensure all operations functions are performed on an efficient, timely basis and meet quality, productivity and audit standards; reviews and prepares quality and productivity reports for management. · Interfaces with client(s) and or other departments to respond to questions regarding, systems capabilities and special processing. Escalates exception processing with significant financial ramifications to upper management. · Communicates with various support and s departments, to address shareholder and client inquiries. · Reviews operating procedures/policies, identifies issues and makes improvement recommendations to upper management. · Communicates with RM team with to resolve sensitive issues. · Manages the training and development of department personnel, in compliance with the Associate Development Plan, if applicable. · Regularly monitors associates' progress and provides frequent feedback to direct reports. Assists in the creation of, and/or enhancements to, associate development plans. · Oversees the utilization of all applications and equipment, as directed by management, by monitoring individual usage and providing feedback to associates. · Manages and participates in a variety of special projects, including year-end, as directed by upper management. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience. · TSO knowledge helpful , but not required · 3 - 4 years transfer agency or related operations experience, including 1 - 2 years senior specialist experience preferred. · Detailed knowledge of transfer agency operations policies, procedures and legal. · Working knowledge of system capabilities/applications and policies and procedures. · Basic knowledge of financial services industry preferred. · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to exchange information with management, staff, and various external contacts, to explain policies and corporate guidelines and to present recommendations to upper management. · Ability to execute assignments within established timeframes and quality standards, while responding to immediate needs. · Ability to manage personnel, including training, evaluation and communication of expectations, requirements and results, and ensuring implementation and consistent application of department policies, procedures, and quality standards Location: Kansas City Missouri SS&C is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
