The IT Manager will lead and direct a software engineering team to deliver high quality, innovative technical services that generates client or stakeholder value, competitive advantage to achieve Maritz business needs Scope Monitor, manage, troubleshoot current and potential delivery enhancements, features, and issues; delegate and assign appropriate staff for problem resolution; provide appropriate follow-up; delegate responsibilities as appropriate. Will have direct reports. Provides leadership and direction for all technical issues on and provides follow-up and overall accountability. Primary Responsibilities Project Leadership 50%: Responsible for managing a technical team that provides solution for internal or external clients. Involved in problem resolution and process development. Analyze workflow, delegate projects and meet departmental goals. Act in alignment with client or user needs and system functionality. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions. Team Leadership 50% : Manage IT staff levels by recruiting, training and coaching employees. Conduct interviews and make recommendations for new hires or consultants. Communicates job expectations and provides performance feedback. Assigns projects and manages team workload. Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience. 2. 3 years of experience in an IT related role. 3. Proven working experience as a lead, manager or relevant experience. 4. Solid understanding of IT Technologies and project management tools. 5. Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Detail oriented 8. Software Application Development (SDLC) experience. 9.
