Our Office of the CSO Team seeks a highly skilled Principal Program Manager to align decisions and objectives within the Security and Privacy org to our all-up Team strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting, and overseeing strategic exercises with CTO quarterly and annual planning, owning critical ESP Program Intake process decision making points, and partnering in preparing for Monthly Business Reviews and other executive level read outs. The right person for this role is someone who can design & execute complex technical programs requiring coordination across multiple organizations, technical functions, and teams. This person will strive to align strategy & direction of one or more programs. What you’ll do: Creates the basic structure of a program from scratch including (when needed): Business case, prioritization alignment, team engagement, identifying a sponsor, identifying stakeholders, 'sales' pitch to leadership, budget, and more Identify and recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle and processes, and best practices in Agile engineering Monitors resource usage across projects or programs, identifying areas for synergy or redundancy and looking for ways to optimize efficiency Keeps key stakeholders appraised of project or program risks and handles difficult decisions and communications when timelines cannot be achieved Leads proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks. Leverages experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts. Integrates business and cross-division perspective into issue/risk identification & mitigation. Decides mitigation strategies (when appropriate) Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes making recommendations for improvement, sponsoring and staging workshops/knowledge sessions to improve the organization's functional knowledge and acuity, and leveraging insights and subject-matter experts to overcome challenges Who you are: 10 years related professional experience, as well as demonstrated thought and domain leadership Strong experience leading organizational change and/or end-to-end program management Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills, including plan status, results, and presentations Show mastery of skills and capabilities required and can demonstrate how they are used Drive a culture of constructive critique, challenging others to bring fresh and creative perspectives to differentiating functional technical communications Challenge others to bring fresh and creative perspective to differentiating technical communications and ensuring comprehension and ease-of-use for various audiences The total cash range for this position in Austin is $ $207,500 to $290,500 . Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000 , which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $191,000 to $267,500 . Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $305,500 , which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $332,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
