Team Overview CAE In-Flight Team is responsible for development of CAE In-Flight Services Management product, creating new features, looking for new solutions and maintaining existing functionality. Our team provides support for Delivery, Product and Customer Care teams in troubleshooting customer issues and helping in finding solutions for various business cases. As a comprehensive solution, it spans all aspects of service planning, meal ordering, forecasting, operations, material management, financial controls and reporting. By providing collaborative service planning, integrated operations and instant cost savings, CAE In-Flight Services Management offers carriers a powerful value preposition. And just as beneficial, it serves to product an airline’s brand. Your Role & Main Responsibilities The CAE In-Flight Services Management Team and Airports Team are looking for Technical writer to join our team in Krakow. The Technical Writer is responsible for the creation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Main Responsibilities Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals and technical publications Gather technical information and prepares written text Maintain a current internal documentation library Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc. Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials Coordinate layout and design of documents Work on all phases of documentation Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information Fromm engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources Necessary skills & requirements Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal Join the engine that is changing CAE, pointing towards the next horizon of growth through digital innovation to support our customers in their success. #LI-JK1 Position Type Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
