By narrowly defining the Core Purpose, you’re able to define what’s needed to tackle the existing business challenge(s) Entegris International Test Solutions (ITS) site is seeking a Supply Planner/Materials Manager to implement foundational processes of Planning, Scheduling, and Inventory Control in a manufacturing environment. And, it’s the perfect time to accept this role as the ITS site prepares to integrate into SAP ERP for planning execution and SAP IBP for S&OP! You will also lead the team responsible for the purchasing, planning and inventory control for the site while also working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams along with other key functions. The ITS site and this position supports our Surface Preparation and Integration Business Unit and is located in our Reno, NV manufacturing facility. Define “what success will look like.” Supply Planner: Serve as the Subject Matter Authority and Coach for all things related to supply planning, scheduling, purchasing and inventory control in SAP ERP tool Determine and sustain appropriate planning strategies (MTS, ATO, BTO) for Finished Good materials in collaboration with Commercial team in support of Division & BU business strategy for customer fulfillment while upholding operational performance expectations (P&L; inventory) Perform duties related to Supply Planning in support of the Sales and Operations Planning process including (but not limited to) establishing / maintaining work center capacity assumptions (labor & equipment), and incorporating these assumptions into rough cut capacity analysis and Master Production Schedule development Facilitate crisp and concise meeting interactions that are effective at defining the capacity assumptions; and serve as focal to supervise the WC loading and drive mitigation with Operations and Site Schedulers for any significant overloaded work areas (overtime; additional capability activity). Facilitate crisp and concise meeting interactions that are effective at defining the constraints, identifying root cause, identifying mitigation needed, and telling the story accurately. Drive mitigation for unresolvable capacity constraints (labor / equipment / raw material) & drive action item closure with cross functional stakeholders (Ops, Engineering, Procurement, Commodity Mgmt, Product Mgmt) Develop and integrate quantified supply plan into final “Constrained Consensus Demand Plan” in support of the Sales and Operations Planning Process monthly; focus of process is 18 months forward in time. Serve as the ‘Go To’ person for inquiries from Sales/Marketing regarding manufacturing source of supply, capacity and driving closure to any additional capacity needed for new business/new market opportunities Serve as focal person for any supply continuity risks for the site; providing status; driving resolution, and internal customer communication of impact & status. Materials Manager: Integrate ITS site and drive accountability for use of Entegris global standardized processes, tools (SAP ECC and IBP) and procedures in conjunction with Distribution Planning, Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning and Supply Chain COE team for production planning, distribution and global inventory management and control to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs; Develop & maintain documented material flow for the site; develop & ensure physical to logical inventory integrity; integrate into SAP functionality; develop & supervise key metrics to sustain inventory integrity long term Deploy & maintain relevant leading and lagging supply chain performance metrics; conduct root cause analyses, and develop and execute appropriate action plans; Planning / Purchasing: OTS, Plan vs. Actual, Projected Volumes (Sales Value of Production or SVOP), Supplier OTD Inventory Control: Cycle Count Accuracy, Aged in Transit, Warehouse Monitor Dashboard Develop a highly capable production planning, scheduling, purchasing and inventory control team through continuous improvement, metric performance, personnel development and strong performance management; Lead cross-functional teams for Continuous Improvement Process initiatives; Traits we believe make a strong candidate: What are the Position Specific Proficiencies? Undergraduate Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering; APICS certification a plus (CPIM or CIRM); Supply chain management experience, working in a cross-functional environment; Experience as a master scheduler and/or production scheduler in a manufacturing environment; Proven participation in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP); Knowledge and experience in SAP MRP / ERP system related to: inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, capacity planning with use of work centers and routings; Experience in a lean manufacturing, process-oriented environment; Supply chain experience in chemical manufacturing or other high-tech industries; Demonstrated ability to lead/direct/influence a strong team of professionals as well as leading cross-functional teams; Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and senior management with the skill to clearly present recommendations, ideas and summaries to sophisticated issues; Excellent decision-making ability and possess the confidence to implement those decisions; Ability to build positive relationships across the organization; Proficiency with Excel and the ability to analyze data; Analytical skills to interpret and handle data/performance metrics.
