Installs, creates, and enhances complex automation tools that support the coding lifecycle. Utilizes full stack development skills to enable them to understand the application architecture. Handles deployments to the test and production environments and address CI/CD failures. Provide middleware infrastructure support in a proprietary Cloud environment and assist development teams in new technology environment builds. Perform application infrastructure patching and upgrades. Drive or participate in POCs for new monitoring tools used on existing web applications. Set up new server health checks and application alerts. Lead and mentor less experienced team members. We are looking for: Highly motivated DevOps engineer with the ability to lead a team and perform individual contributor tasks. Strong analytical skills and proven ability to quickly understand complex applications and environments. Self-starter with strong prioritization skills to rank and address business initiatives. Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities with time constraints. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or related field Minimum 7 years equivalent work-related experience Solid Linux skills with a focus on DevOps or SRE, including patching, shell scripting, and networking Hands-on experience with CI/CD and cloud technologies, preferably with GitHub actions Experience with Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Salt, Docker, Kubernetes Experience establishing and running application monitoring solutions, including Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, AlertSite, Glowroot, Wily Introscope, Datadog Familiar with or able to learn installation and maintenance of Apache Superset, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Keycloak, GraphQL, APIM Understanding of with Postgres, SQL, or AIX databases and queries Familiar with Java, Java-based Web application development, and Python Understanding of Microservices architecture using Spring and Spring Cloud technology Location: Kansas City Missouri SS&C is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
