Job Description: Recognized internal functional expert in the automation of the end-to-end process from application build to application deployment, including in all aspects of the continuous integration and continuous delivery process. Works on significant or unique project teams between operations and software engineering, enabling them to rapidly build, deploy, and operate various systems & infrastructure components. Installs, creates, and enhances complex automation tools that support the coding lifecycle. Utilizes full stack development skills to enable them to understand the application architecture. Works closely with the agile software engineering teams for incremental product deployments and handles deployments to the test and production environments. Assists with administration of both Unix and Windows enterprise applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshooting issues relating to resources and releases Document all resolutions for assigned tickets Escalate requests / tickets within team as necessary Monitor resources for responsiveness and any potential issues Report on overall DevOps state and advise on any recommendations Assists in the creation of documentation Ensures the accuracy of assets in CMDB System Participates in the design of new install and refresh discussions Provides guidance for monitoring thresholds, alerts, and actions Works with other IT teams to improve application monitoring and uptime Available during non-business hours to resolve system issues as needed Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations General understanding of desktop, server and network technologies Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively Excellent customer service and communications skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly General understanding of Salt grains SQL knowledge is a plus Location: Kansas City Missouri SS&C is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
