A great opportunity has arisen for a driven and passionate BDR Manager. The Business Development activity is a key part of the Marketing and Sales activity within Forcepoint business. The EMEA BDR Manager is responsible for managing a pan-European Business Development Representative [BDR] team that is tasked with developing opportunities for the business across the EMEA region. The role: The BDR Manager is responsible for the development of the BDR team to support the sales efforts of the EMEA sales team. The successful candidate will do this by leveraging effective coaching and mentoring techniques with a view to achieving the BDR-goals and -KPIs that are set by Forcepoint. These would include metrics such as pipeline generation, qualification of marketing leads, and appointment setting. An understanding of the current cyber security market trends and business drivers is advantageous. Key responsibilities include: Driving high-performance, positive, and professional BDR team culture by leveraging coaching, mentoring, training, and personal development plans for the Business Development Representatives. Coaching BDR team in the development of effective and customized email and phone campaigns to successfully generate new business opportunities, including thoughtful and thorough preparation for pitches and demos Drive key performance metrics to ensure quality pipeline to help exceed monthly revenue targets Regularly report on key individual and team metrics to identify strengths and areas of improvement Generate accurate forecast of leads/meetings booked, to properly project quarterly and yearly team results Hire and train new BDR hires, as well as coaching them in their career Help the team to balance between qualifying inbound marketing generated leads as well as focus on outbound lead generation, work with their aligned salespeople, and use the tools at their disposal Managing the activities that are required to create the necessary pipeline in order to allow sales to exceed sales targets. Engaging with customers through multiple communication methods, and ensuring the team is leveraging all resources and tools available to them to do so Experience you can bring: Extensive and proven IT software Sales experience selling security software and / or network technologies Relationship management and new business sales experience Experience of managing, growing, and taking ownership of accounts A proven sales background of consistent achievement against quota Used to meeting with and presenting to C-level / executive level contacts within customers’ accounts Used to working with the Channel as well as developing business directly Able to effectively partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers, as well as liaising with external partners at all levels Experience of working across various vertical markets Good analytical and forecasting skills Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills Excellent understanding and execution of formal sales training techniques, such as Solution Selling. Persistently demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the company, the work, the vision, and the people. Experience with Sales and Marketing automation tools like SFDC, Hubspot and Outreach.
