Job Description Summary/Objective The Purchasing Procurer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and fulfilling all requests to ensure continued operations in compliance with established contracts. This position will work closely with Purchasing Buyers, Global Category Specialists/ Managers, Operations, Finance, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to ensure that there is a reliable inbound flow of materials and paid within agreed upon terms. Essential Functions Execute local purchasing ordering process for supply requests through SAP/Ariba or other approved means. Collaborate with production units, storeroom and maintenance to assure inventories are at proper levels for current conditions. Expedite materials to secure operations Execute in accordance with Local and Global procurement policy and procedures Plan, facilitate and support supplier business reviews linked to contract fulfillment Communicate performance expectations and progress to suppliers and manage related action plan Primary contact at operational level to monitor compliance with contract terms, insuring follow up in case of deviations Manage day to day vendor relations, contracts, and new initiatives to fulfill business requirements. Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel & Power Point Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or management or equivalent experience 3 years’ experience in purchasing environment Analytical and detail oriented Knowledge of sourcing and measuring vendors and supplier performance Strong knowledge of best practices within a purchasing environment Excellent communication skills both oral and written Supervisory Responsibility This position does not directly manage employees. Work Environment This job is considered a hybrid position where sometimes will be remote and some will be in the office.
