The Team The Global Procurement team is a key part of Iron Mountain’s Global Business Services group. It collaborates with business and functional leaders to drive an enterprise-wide approach to our capability sourcing strategy. Simply put, we make it easier for Mountaineers to BUY, TRAVEL, and CONTRACT for the best possible value. The Job This role is responsible for providing category management, sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management expertise in the Services Sourcing group. Although the role will primarily focus on the Marketing and Translation spend categories for North America, it will also provide the opportunity to learn about the other spend areas, including, but not limited to the travel and contingent worker programs, consulting and legal spend. The Responsibilities Working with key business partners and senior leadership, gain solid understanding of strategic direction and requirements, corporate business objectives and priorities to develop sourcing plans and category strategies for the Marketing and Translation spend categories. Category Strategy development Experience in analyzing spend patterns and trends. Create ideas to save the company money, meet DEI goals, and create overall value to the company. Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and create positive interactions. Keep a pulse on industry trends to help create effective sourcing strategies. Execute sourcing strategy activities through collaboration with business customers. Lead Requests for Proposals and contract negotiations. Include colleagues in decision-making and solution to make sure needs are met and tasks are completed. Provide progress updates to leaders. Manage contracts and suppliers to meet targets and deliverables. Conduct and lead periodic business reviews with suppliers and customers. Monitor cost savings and Services Levels. Manage timely contract renewals. Support suppliers and customers with invoice assistance. Find the right balance to address required risk mitigation while making it easy to buy the services the company requires. Market and communicate procurement policies, procedures, and activities across the organization leveraging appropriate and effective communication channels. Look for ways to meet requirements with flexibility where available. About you Candidates should have experience developing and advancing category sourcing strategies that support key business objectives / priorities and result in cost savings and process improvements. The position requires specific experience in setting strategy and leading structured sourcing programs and contract negotiations. Minimum 8 years’ category management experience. Experience in sourcing, negotiating, contracting, analysis, project management. The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Influence skills to positively influence outcomes with business areas that may be required to deal with change. Excellent communication skills(both written and verbal). Energetic and “Can do” attitude with a keen willingness to learn.
