Job Description Summary We are looking for a passionate individual who will be responsible for managing business technology projects. Works with various business teams to deliver projects which improve business processes and technology at Lamb Weston. Responsible for planning, execution, completion and measurement of IT projects. Takes project from original concept through final implementation and project closure. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, infrastructure services, architecture and application team members. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project budgets, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for all project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and required project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and reviews vendor deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders. Leverages internal and external experts to provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Actively participates in the Lamb Weston project management community and engages in process design/improvements for the overall methodology, tools and processes. Job Description Responsible for leading multiple projects or larger scale complex projects Accountable for defining and managing overall project scope for the life of the project Build and track a detailed budget for the projects. Provides regular project financial status including actuals and forecasted project spend. Create a detailed project schedule and manages project resources accordingly Identify, track and mitigates project issues and risks. Able to escalate issues and resolution plans quickly and effectively Effectively allocate and forecast project-level resources Manage project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting of project completion dates Deliver projects to meet business-defined project goals Collaborates successfully across both internal and external resources. Forecast project completion spend (Estimate at Completion) Facilitates post go-live hand off to production and project closure steps as required by the SDLC Provides weekly project status updates and coordinates for regular steering committee meetings with IT Directors and/or key stakeholders Log actual time spent on projects Basic & Preferred Qualifications Requires BS/BA in computer science, business or related field, Masters degree preferred Must have 10 years of experience with program and project management, in an IT environment Mastery of established project management methodologies and best practices Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor less experienced Project Managers Excellent leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent facilitation and elicitation skills required PMP Desired Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
