Job Description Summary This position is responsible for leading warehouse personnel focusing on safety, operational goals, job duties, and inventory control. This position is responsible for accurate inventories of dry goods, ingredients, and finished goods. This position monitors forward warehouse inventories for accuracy and is the point of contact for outside vendors related to the warehouse. This position will assist in training and development of team members in all aspects of their positions. This position is responsible to maintain accurate document control records and chain of custody records that meet all food safety regulations. This position will oversee plant oil blending and oil ordering operations. Job Description · Lead warehouse employees in plant safety culture and LW Mission, Vision, Values. · Utilize Lamb Weston Operating Culture to achieve safety, food safety, quality and reliability targets. · Work in coordination with CSD to train new employees in warehouse positions to perform job duties and to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. · Oversee the operations of Auto Truck Load systems. (ATL). · Oversee the plant G - force program and required follow-up. · Works with Production to schedule repack and rework activities. · Manages removing of cattle feed and product waste with vendors. · Ability to Operate a forklift as needed. · Perform and direct effective cycle count activities and proper documentation. · Maintain FIFO. · Interface with ICIX. · Oversees training of TMs in Manifest, ASI and hand-held scanners. · Lead and give clear direction to warehouse clerks and warehouse personnel. · Maintain plant guidelines related plant security and food safety. · Oversee discrepancies of inventories related to product tracking. Both internal and external. · Assist with product recall activities as directed. · Lead warehouse AMD efforts. · Lead all physical inventory activities. · Oversee all warehouse operations. · Oversee oil systems, including maintaining inventories, ordering oil, monitoring systems as needed. · Ability to work off shifts and weekends as directly by manager. · Other tasks as assigned Basic & Preferred Qualifications Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job. To successfully perform this job, an individual must: · Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading employees preferred. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment preferred. · Have knowledge and ability to operate a lift truck. · Have knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory cycle count. · Have knowledge of regulatory policies and document control. · Have Knowledge of computers and programs such as manifest, ASI, SAP, Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Read, write and effectively communicate in English. · Ability to operate all equipment in the operator’s area of responsibility. This includes ATL systems. · Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practice safety as outlined in the employee handbook. · Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals also must have the ability to: · Effectively follow and issue instructions to accomplish company goals and objectives. · Lead employees by setting a positive example that illustrates the company’s goals, objectives, and culture. · Effectively communicate to employees, outside vendors/warehouses, suppliers, and customers. · Operate a touch screen.
