Job Description Summary Under the supervision and direction of the Plant Sr. Human Resources Generalist this position is responsible for performing professional level duties as a human resource generalist in a variety of functional areas; such as classification, recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits, disability accommodation, employee relations, training, and labor relations in support of the Lamb Weston Human Resource operations. This is a key position within the HR Office and must be customer service oriented. The successful candidate will ensure consistency and accuracy, and represent the HR department as a professional and courteous business partner. Job Description Duties and Expectations: Creates and maintain employee schedules across the plant campus. Schedules or find coverage for open positions, including vacations, leaves of absence, or other vacancies. Time and attendance tracking for all hourly employees across the plant campus. Assist in filing as needed. Back up for Payroll processing. Works with the Operations group to schedule, call off or compile volunteer overtime list. Coordinates short term disability/FMLA processing with Sedgwick and thru our HRIS Workday system including return to work activities Assists with recruitment and onboarding activities (interviews, orientation, etc.) Assist in communicating and encouraging wellness program and activities Serves as HR representative on assigned committees, projects and community involvement activities Perform other duties as assigned. Basic & Preferred Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or greater preferred. 3 years of scheduling experience, or other related HR experience. Experience in a union manufacturing environment preferred Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) products. Maintain confidential information. Ability to multi-task. Previous experience in a customer service environment preferred.
